Dr. Rukshana Billimoria, an able academician and administrator for Anjuman-I-Islam’s Institute of Hospitality Management. Armed with a Doctor of Philosophy in General Management, from Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Juhu, Santacruz,- SNDT University, a Masters degree in Tourism Management from Madurai Kamaraj University, Post graduate diploma in Fast Food Operations from the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Mumbai affiliated to National Council, Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Tourism Management from YCMOU, Bachelor of Science in Home Science specializing in Food Science and Nutrition from SVT Juhu in affiliation with SNDT University.
Dr. Billimoria began her career in the culinary industry and then after a brief period of three years, she embarked on her professional journey as an academician with Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management in the year 1993, and continued her academic stint with Anjuman-I-Islam Institute of Hospitality Management from 1996. Progressing as the Head of Department and Course Coordinator, she took over the reins as the Principal of the institute in 2009. In the last 15 years, under her guidance, Anjuman-I-Islam IHM has seen the successful launch of the M.Sc (H&HA) program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Known as an empathetic and engaging administrator, Dr. Billimoria values an environment where collaboration and cooperation are encouraged, resulting in a stronger and inclusive community. With a heart and mind to be successful, she has made her mark as a top leader.
